Over a decade ago, bgirls, twin sisters Candy and Cindy asked themselves a question.

If ballet starts at preschool age, why can't hip hop, specifically breaking?

They began to explore the concept of a breaking pedagogy that led to Cindy's published article "From B-girl to B-baby" in the journal of Dance Education based on their research from executing and evaluating over 75 workshops and years of weekly classes in military connected program to form the Bbaby curriculum.

 

In 2014 they began to collaborate with breaking pioneer,

Honey Rockwell, Co-Founder of Rock Da Floor Kids Dance Battles 2021 in Georgia. Bbaby was designed to prepare dance instructors to teach and lead toddlers in a safe, holistic and effective practice of breaking.

This is an intense Live Online certification course for dance instructors, educators, teachers and coaches interested in introducing breaking and hip hop to little creatives at the earliest age possible.

Our aim to contribute to develop hip hop dance specifically breaking by creating and developing new knowledgeable and experienced dance teachers wherever dance is taught.
